Prom - Lorne Park SS - May 2011

Hello, I am Stacey Tomblin's father and was taking pictures at the backyard party.  Thankfully, we had one day it was not raining!
First things first, a tremendous round of thanks to the Taylor's for hosting this event for all of us parents and students.

You are welcome to download these pictures for your personal use.  Please let all the parents and students know that they can access these photos.  They are not on Facebook, as everyone would have to be "friends" to do so with me.  Hence I created a webpage on our business site, with no public link.

The only way to get to this page is by the link we have provided on Stacey Tomblin's Facebook page.  The pictures are for the benefit of both parents and students, remembering a great day in the lives of our families.  I enjoyed talking to a number of parents, who I met previously in my years on the LP School Council.

Congratulations to all of you grads!  Make your way through the future with self-esteem, confidence, thoughtfulness, courage, care for others, and critical thinking/decision making.  As your parents, we remember when we were in high school and what we felt like.  Like you, we were invinceable with boundless energy.  You now chart your future path, free of our what we call concern/what you call meddling!
As you gain education and work experience, you grow your financial "bank" accounts through life.  You may not know, you have a similar "social" account, that has deposits and withdrawals.  Through helping other people, individually, or groups, or volunteering, or improving the world you live in, you make deposits to your "social" account.  True happiness comes when you have positive balances in both your financial and your social accounts.
One person can change and can affect the world.  Believe it.  It can be you.

All photos are free, no monetary payment is required.  However, with an expected hot summer coming, I will gladly accept any compensation, such as a fee of beer (1 beer per family or, magnanimously, 1 beer per photo used!)  Of course, the dedicated drop off zone has been set, at the porch of our house.  The best part is, I enjoy sharing.

Each of the photos is a very high density photo, suitable for magazine photos or for making poster size prints.  You can easily make a 10"x14" photo, with no graininess.  The photos are "raw", meaning they have not been modified.
Each image is 3.5 - 5.0 MB in size.  In relative terms, these are huge photo file sizes.  Typically for internet use, most photos are 1/25th or 1/50th of this size.  When you download one of these photos to view on your screen, it may take 2-3 minutes.  Wait until the photo is fully rendered on your screen.  Then you can save it to your PC.
To save a photo:
a) right click on your mouse,
b) then pull down to "Save Picture as" and left click your mouse
c) a window pops up for where to save the picture
d) make sure the folder is "My Pictures" (if you want you can create a new sub-folder)
e) in the box for File Name, give the picture a name such as LP1.  Then for other photos assign a sequential number such as LP2, or LP3, etc. as you save them.
f) I suggest that you save the pictures you look at, whether you like them or not.  You can always delete them at a later date.  It saves wasting 2-3 minutes downloading it again.

Enjoy the photos.

Best regards, Tom Tomblin     Cell: 905-601-3004   Email: tom@modeltrains.com
