RESERVING MODELS WITH US

Thank you for your interest in reserving models with us.  We take reservations on both brass and plastic models, for future delivery.  This ensures that you will get the model, at our competitive prices.

Deposits, whether they are being paid by check, money order, cash, or credit card, must be received promptly to confirm your reservation. Failure to apply a deposit to reservations will result in their cancellation.

Kindly let us know the quantity, manufacturer, product number, and description of each model you wish to reserve.

If you have not set up an account with us previously, we will need to get  the following information on your shipping address and personal interests.  That way, we can set up your customer account and help serve you better in the future:

For payment, we accept personal checks, bank money orders (not postal money orders), bank drafts, cashier's checks, PayPal, Visa or Mastercard, or wire transfer (bank to bank payments).  

If you want to email your credit card number, please send two emails. Kindly send the first email with the first eight digits and the second email with the remaining eight digits and your expiry date. Please also include the name as printed on the credit card. Alternatively you could fax us with this credit card information, or phone us directly.

We ship by UPS. Generally within North America for a single box of nominal size, UPS standard (ground) is $8-$15 and UPS expedited (air) is $25-$40. For shipments to Europe, it is a minimum of $40US. A higher value or higher weight or dimension box increases these costs slightly.

Once we have the above information, we can proceed with your order in our system.

You will receive an E-mail reservation sales order confirmation shortly after you place your reservation with us. 

If there is no price showing on the invoice for any particular model, it generally means that the importer has not yet established a price for that model.  You will always get our maximum discount from the importer's suggested price for every reservation model, whenever the importer establishes the selling price for the model.

While we appreciate a minimum 10% deposit on brass and 20% on plastic locomotives at the time of reservation, no further payments are required on any model until shortly before actual delivery, at which time we will be in contact with you.  If you desire, you can make prepayments at any time on any model on reservation.  Generally no deposits are required for plastic rolling stock items.  Your credit card is charged in full once the order arrives.  Checks, international money orders & PayPal are also accepted.
