The shipping information is shown in order below, for Canada, the U.S.A. and Overseas.

Shipping within Canada:

UPS
We ship most boxes by UPS.  If you do not tell us otherwise, it will go by UPS.

UPS charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.  UPS outgoing shipments are made daily from our warehouse.  The box is insured for the full value of the contents.  Insurance is $.55CAD per $100CAD, which is included in our pricing.   You can choose between the:
a)  "Expedited" service (air from Toronto), which could be next day, up to a guaranteed maximum three day delivery, typically $25CAD and up, or
b)  "Standard" service (ground).   Standard service delivery is usually made on the next day or up to five days later, depending upon your location.  This costs $8CAD and up.  For shipping within southern Ontario, it is usually $8 and up, for the Prairies and Quebec, about $10 and up, for BC and Maritimes, $12 and up.

POST
We can ship boxes also by Post.  If you want shipment by Post, please specify at the time of ordering.

Post charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.  Insurance is $.75Cad. per $100Cad., up to a maximum of $5,000 Cad.  Maximum weight is 30 kg.  You can choose between:
a)  "Regular or Expedited" service (ground), which could be next day for local delivery, up to a guaranteed maximum seven day delivery, typically $10Cad and up.  For example, B.C. is typically $15Cad. for a box weighing less than 2 kg.
b)  "ExpressPost" service (air).   Standard service delivery is usually made on the next day or second day, depending upon your location.  This costs $10Cad. and up.  For example, B.C. delivery is typically $35Cad. for a box weighing 2 kg.


Shipping to the U.S.A.:

UPS
We ship most boxes by UPS.  If you do not tell us otherwise, it will go by UPS.

UPS charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.  The box is insured for the full value of the contents.  Insurance is $.50CAD per $100CAD for Expedited service and $.35US per $100US for standard service, which is included in our pricing.  Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii can only be made by Expedited service, with a UPS surcharge.  You can choose between the:
a)  "Expedited" service (air from Toronto), which could be next day, up to a guaranteed maximum three day delivery, typically $25US and up.  We ship this service daily.
b)  "Standard" service (ground).   Standard service delivery is usually made on the next day or up to five days later, depending upon your location.  This costs $8US and up.  We consolidate these shipments to clear customs and Homeland Security, with shipments made once or twice a week.

POST
We can ship boxes also by Post.  If you want shipment by Post, please specify at the time of ordering.

Post charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.  Insurance is $1.20Cad. per $100Cad., up to a maximum of $1,000 Cad.  This is approximately $1US per $100US value, to a maximum of $800US.  You can choose between:
a)  "USA Expedited Parcel" service (ground), which could be two to ten days for delivery, typically $10US and up.  For example, Nevada. is typically $12US for a box weighing less than 2 kg.
b)  "ExpressPost" service (air), which could be two to five days, depending upon your location.  This costs $15US. and up.  For example, Nevada delivery is typically $20US. for a box weighing 2 kg.

Shipping Overseas to the U.K., Europe, Asia, Australia:

UPS
We ship most customer's boxes this way.  If you do not tell us otherwise, it will go by UPS.

UPS charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.   Shipments are made daily by us.  The box is insured for the full value of the contents.  Insurance is $.50CAD per $100CAD, which is included in our pricing.  Shipping is only by "Expedited" service (air from Toronto), which is generally 3-5 days delivery.  Shipping to the U.K. or Europe is $40US and up, for shipping to Asia, Australia, it is typically $50US and up.  For New Zealand, there is no UPS Expedited service, there is only "Express" which is a slightly more costly service, typically $60US and up.

POST
We can ship boxes also by Post.  If you want shipment by Post, please specify at the time of ordering.

Post charges are based on the size of the box, its weight, and its value.  Insurance is $1.20Cad. per $100Cad., up to a maximum of $1,000 Cad.  This is approximately $1US per $100US value, to a maximum of $800US.  You can choose between:
a)  "Surface" service, which could be six to eight weeks for delivery.   It really is the slow boat service, for those who are concerned about minimizing shipping costs.   This cost is based on the weight of the box, typically $10US and up.  For example, to the the U.K. for a box less than 1 kg., the cost is $10US.  Insurance can be purchased up to a maximum of $800US, at $1US per $100 value.
b)  "Small Packet Air" service, which could be four to ten days for delivery.  This cost is based on the weight of the box, less than .25 kg. costs $6US, less than .5 kg. costs $12US, less than 1 kg. costs $24US, les than 2 kg. costs $36US.  The maximum weight of the box for this service is 2 kg.  If over 2 kg. then this service can not be selected.  The insured value is only a maximum of $100Cad., additional insurance can not be purchased.  The maximum dimensions for length + width + height are 900mm.  If the box size is larger, or the contents require insurance, then this method can not be selected.
c)  "ExpressPost International" service (air), which could be four to six days, depending upon your location.  This costs $45US. and up.  For example, UK delivery is typically $45US. for a box weighing less than 2 kg.  Insurance can be purchased up to a maximum of $800US, at $1US per $100 value.
 

Please note that these are estimated costs.  Actual shipping costs vary due to the size of the box, the weight, the value of its contents and the ultimate location.
