• The Intermountain models have factory installed head lights and kadee style couplers. 

• There is no tooling to produce the ditch lights on the Intermountain model.

• The standard Intermountain model comes with a single chime horn, no bell, and a low winterization hatch, which is not correct for ONR.

• The correct ONR FP7A has a three chime horn, a roof mounted bell, and a high winterization hatch.

• We have discussed with Intermountain detail parts we want to add to our exclusive model, such as the correct multi-chime horn, the bell mounted on the roof, and the winterization hatch.   At the factory in China, they cannot install the bell and the winterization hatch, as the model will not fit in the styrofoam cutout with these parts added on.

• The models will be delivered to CMT with a correct 3 chime horn installed. 

• We will purchase the correct bell and winterization hatch and custom paint them with the same colour as the roof.

• Alternatively, we can have our painter install the correct bell and the correct winterization hatch, notch out the styrofoam insert, and then we will ship the model to you.  There is an additional cost to have this installation work done. 

• If you wish to have your model weathered with airbrushed colours, we can do this as light, medium or heavy weathering. 

• For the sound equipped models, we will have the correct three chime horn loaded into the sound chip, so you do not need to reprogram it from a single chime horn.

• As we obtain more information, we will update our HO ONR members. 

• ONR had these prototype engines in road numbers 1500 to 1521. 

• We have received a pre-production sample, on July 8, from Intermountain as shown below.  .
