Here is a picture of the first sample out of the mold. It is the "worst"
sample, as the mold requires "tweaking" over the next few months to further
improve the model. Enjoy the view!

CMT is pleased to announce that we are having an exclusive run of HO models
produced for us by Rapido Trains. The first release will include the CN models, as
delivered, in red/orange with black roofs and black cupolas. Photos
below courtesy of Don Jaworksi. Click on them for a larger image.
Rapido has recently manufactured their Transcona Yard wide-vision cabooses. We
are using their proven innovations in new caboose trucks, electronic circuits
for interior lighting, marker lamp lighting and industry leading accuracy and
detail. This model will be delivered in a Rapido box, with their safe packaging
method.
As the project progresses, we will be sending out regular updates showing 2
dimensional drawings, 3 dimensional drawings, and then models as they are tooled
and corrected.
Reserve now and you will receive
our lowest price. For modellers who commit to this project early, we will
reward your commitment. As reservations are made and we get closer to
production, the early reservation price will be raised towards the list price.
Don't delay, reserve now.
No decision
has been made at this point on producing other CN paint schemes or other road
names. For example CN also had these cabooses painted with yellow cupolas
and lettered for International Service. Exact or very similar models were
owned by Alaska RR, Algoma Central, CB&CNS, CV, GT, GTW, and WC to name a few.

We will produce 12 different road #’s for CN, plus an un-numbered painted
model. Note that road numbers are
tentative and may change.
