In service for over 25 years, the LRC coaches form the backbone of VIA Rail Canada's Corridor fleet, and are the single most numerous car type in VIA's roster.

While Amtrak only operated its LRC set for two years, the same cars were repainted in VIA colors and saw many years of service on the Toronto-Chicago "International" finally being removed from service in the mid-1990s.

The LRC "VIA 1" First Class Club Cars are remodelled coaches, with more spacious seating and an expanded galley for heating up those sumptuous three-course meals. Your passengers will thank you for pampering them with this executive service!

Check out the sink drains!	Here are the seats at the B end of the car. The tired crew usually sits in the seats on the far right.
Check out the microwave. The little bump on top of the electrical cabinet is a light that tells you if banking has been turned on.	You can hang your coat here on plastic hangers (not included, sorry). The quad (four-seater) is a particularly nice way to travel in the Corridor.
